Bib

Genevieve and the bib that did not protect her white shirt from all foods green: soy beans, broccoli and peas

Genevieve's First Birthday

Genevieve turned one on Saturday, October 17. Praise the Lord for this sweet baby girl!
As with Rachel, we celebrated with some finger painting.
On her present from daddy and mommy.

More Finger Painting

Opening and playing with her present

Big sisters need to have fun with the new toy too! Here goes Rachel, jumping over the stool.

Oiling the Doors

John learned how fun and interactive the girls are when you are trying to do anything other than play with them. He was oiling the door hinges upstairs under Rachel and Genevieve's close supervision.

Running with Moriah

On an afternoon walk with Moriah.

Goat Lady Dairy

We went to a goat farm, Goat Lady Dairy, with my good friend, Missy. I dressed the girls in Tara's old bib-overalls and we had a great day at the farm.

Clever Babies

Reading books and Singing

What a couple of cuties! I love my kids!
Rachel loves to sing. She often makes up her own songs about what she sees or what she is doing. Now she has started incorporating her own made-up words. She threw in some-sort of a southern accent at the beginning of this song. She is looking at the piano music for All things Bright and Beautiful in this video.
Genevieve is just now starting to sit through a whole book (mostly), when being read too. She really likes Pat the Bunny, Good Night Moon, and The Going to Bed Book. Here she is listening to one of her favorites.
