Preggers Update

For those of you who know what this means: at 35 weeks I'm at 2cm, 80-90% effaced, and Genevieve is at -1 station...and still holding. This means the baby is low. Good times!

Hiking Trip

We took one more hiking trip before the belly got too big.

Wheely Bug

Rachel loves giving her baby dolls rides; on the rocking horse, in the little orange cart, in her bouncy seat and especially on her Wheely Bug. This is the only thing she can ride with the baby doll. Here she is with a CPK from John's childhood.

Mema and Cousins

Mema, Emily, Michael and Katie came for a visit this summer. We had a great time visiting! Emily, Michael and Katie were wonderful, doing their summer workbooks and then playing in the pool with Rachel and me. John loved taking them to our YMCA water park and going down water slides with them. (no camera...silly Deanna) Rachel enjoyed quiet time with Mema and playing with her cousins.Rachel, Michael, Katie and Emily on the couch.
Rachel sharing her water with a thirsty fish. Mema made her giggle with this thirsty fish.

Ohio in August

We visited my Grandfather and Aunt in Ohio this August. We had a great time relaxing on the farm with family. Tara and Karrie also drove up from VA and we got to spend time with them and all the kids. Family is great!

Ben, Rachel and Michael riding back from a trip to the lake. Rachel learned everyone's names on this trip. She had fun in the car with Ben and "Mital."
Rachel and Emily walking in the yard. She says "Emyee" or "Emlalee"...not quite sure where to put the L's.
Seth.
Levi, Katie and Rachel take a still ride on the threewheeler. (aka the motorcycle, according to Levi)

Rachel and Karrie (aun Ta-ee) sitting in from of the house in their Marymount shirts. I gave this shirt to Emily when I was a student at Marymount and Emily was a baby. When Karrie became a student there, and I had the baby to fit in it, she gave it to Rachel.

Rachel and Helen (aun he-yuhn) smile for the camera.

Sarah (Sa-yah), Rachel, Seth (Ses), Levi (Lebi) and Katie (Tatie) running up the hill toward the house. The kids spent a lot of time playing outside. The weather was perfect.

Beautiful Sarah.

Rachel and Levi. Rachel is still talking about her cousin Levi.
Great Grandpa Shaw and Rachel take a rest in the kitchen. Rachel called him Great, or in her words "Date."
It was a lovely trip!
